How soon can you start my accounts?
As soon as possible after your year end. Use the Checklist we supply to ensure that all the information we need is collated. Contact us and agree a date with us when you will provide us with your books and records. You will need to give us at least four weeks notice, so that we can allocate time to do your work.
I’ve provided you with everything on the Checklist. When will my accounts be ready for signing?
We guarantee that we will provide you with your final accounts for signature within 45 days (excluding bank and public holidays) of your providing us with all your books and records. This is on the basis that you provide us with complete information and answer any queries we have quickly. The 45 days will not include any days we are waiting for responses from you regarding queries, missing items or further information needed by us, and are part of our Premier Package (other packages are available).
You are only doing our audit, how quickly will we receive the audit report?
If you keep to the date agreed, and there are no missing items or information, we will provide an initial query list within 20 days, and then a final report of findings to you within 15 days of the queries being resolved, and our statutory audit report and Letter to Trustees will be supplied within 10 days of the amended accounts being supplied to us. These timings exclude bank and public holidays, and any days we are waiting for responses from you regarding queries, missing items or further information needed by us, and are part of our Premier Package (other packages are available).
Why are you keen to get the accounts and audit finished so soon after the year end?
Timing and accurate financial reporting is crucial. We work hard so that you can use the financial statements in preparing grant applications, cost reports and in fundraising activities.
